"The Paediatric Developmental Trauma and Sensory Attachment Service Team are 5-star, they listen, hear, understand and fully support you and helped school understand our son's needs. From start to finish they provided all of us with exceptional care and understanding and so much easy-to-understand information and very helpful guidance and tips. We can’t thank them enough."

"It was a relief to be speaking to a team of professionals, who were there to listen and for me to be heard about [my child]’s difficulties. I had been speaking to her school about my concerns and I didn’t feel heard. Although it was overwhelming to see my daughter's report, it gave us a sense of relief to know I wasn’t seeing things and to make sure [my child] was getting the correct services and care she needed.

Tansy, Karen and Jamie were absolutely amazing, so friendly and genuinely wanted to hear about [my child]. [My child] was happy to play with Karen in another room. Jamie and Tansy put me at ease, I was quite emotional and they were so patient with me. I can’t recommend the service enough. The follow-up appointment was very helpful."

"Can you duplicate your lovely team please so that you can see more children and families as the service is invaluable. There just aren’t enough of you!"

"My view is that a lot of therapy takes place without a comprehensive assessment of the child and when the therapy doesn’t work everyone feels blamed. Having worked in post-adoption support, I have come to realise that the neurological development of the child, be it FASD, neurodiversity or learning difficulties, all impact on the therapeutic intervention. Therefore I really value the multi-professional input from your team. It helps to clarify the areas of functioning of the child, where interventions will have the greatest impact and also helps to manage expectations around the child as well as where the change needs to be.
The reports were full and helpful. I particularly valued the feedback session and the uncomplicated way in which it was explained to parents and myself."

"Practical tools that were easy for everybody to understand. These were well explained and achievable by the family. The practitioners are all experts in their field but there was no jargon and everything is very well explained. They were very sensitive to the family and child/young person."
